I dont think it would be possible to broadcast it as there are only few rooms equipped with Access Grid equipment required to broadcast seminars.<br>
Having Polycom wont work either as most campuses in LI/LASiGMA can only connect through AG.<br>

However we can setup an informal meet and greet with long-distant LI/LASiGMA faculty when he visits CCT in the morning. It is great that he will meet the GPU team here as we have been exploring GPU implementations of LAMMPS and will be able to discuss some aspects with him.<br>

I finally have a finalized travel plan from Steve Plimpton for his visit and<br>
seminar at LSU. I am writing to you directly because you had expressed your<br>
interest specifically when I had put out a call a few months ago. I am also<br>
copying all of our LaSiGMA colleagues to make sure that they are aware and<br>
have the opportunity to participate.<br>

His visit will start with a late arrival on Nov. 3. He will spend the whole<br>
day Nov. 4 at LSU and depart Nov. 5 early in the morning. His seminar will<br>
take place 3:30pm-4:30pm, Nov. 4 in the Frank H. Walk Design Presentation<br>
Room (ELAB 140, directions will be sent to all).<br>

Steve has a very busy schedule so he will be here one day only (I was<br>
angling for two, but did not work out), so an effort will be made to make<br>
his short visit as meaningful as possible for as many as possible.<br>

entities (Mech. E. and LaSiGMA), so I will not broadcast the event to the<br>
wider public until next Tuesday. I will send out a flier with Steve's<br>

338 Johnston Hall will be used for the group meetings because it is very<br>
well equipped for highly interactive smaller meetings involving individuals<br>
