I mean, Xavier students do not NEED to be supported by a UNO faculty to be part of a project with faculty at UNO. I have a student at GSU, paid for by the LA-SiGMA funds at GSU but she is working in collaboration with my students at TECH and with students and Faculty at LSU. So, we can do the same with LASiGMA. However, we need to recruit students and offer them scholarships or I may be able to move current students (if they want to switch) to LASiGMA projects. But, we can’t pay these students hourly, which is the current structure.
